1967年7月出生，汉族，中共党员，教授，博士生导师。1984年09月-1988年07月 厦门大学化学系，获学士学位1992年09月-1996年05月 中国科技大学应用化学系，获博士学位1996年05月留中国科技术大学化学系任教1996年11月起为中国科学技术大学化学系副教授1997年09月-1998年07月 美国纽约州立大学石溪分校化学系博士后1998年11月获国家****基金1998年11月起为中国科学技术大学化学系教授1999年04月起为中国科学技术大学无机化学博士生导师2000年10月为教育部“长江****” （第三批）2013年当选中国科学院院士。2015年发展中国家科学院院士现任Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers副主编、JACS，Angew. Chem.等4个英文期刊的编委。获国际理论与应用化学联合会(IUPAC)化学化工杰出女性奖(2013)、发展中国家科学院(TWAS)化学奖(2014)和和L'Oréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science(2015)。
