个人简历 Personal resume


杨永太教授于1996-2003年在中国石油勘探开发科学研究院工作期间，负责和参与了多个盆地分析和石油地质条件评价的科研项目，研究地区包括准噶尔、柴达木、吐哈、鄂尔多斯和渤海湾等大盆地和一系列中小盆地。他于2003-2008年在加拿大多伦多大学攻读博士，师从世界著名盆地分析学家Andrew Miall院士，研究了北美西部前陆盆地的地层-构造演化，重塑了盆地的演化历史，并提出了旋回性的地层充填模型。他于2009-2010年在爱尔兰都柏林大学做博士后，研究了北大西洋东部裂谷盆地的地层-构造演化，首次提出在侏罗纪末期北大西洋东部经历了一次大规模的挤压变形，可能应力来自于欧洲中部阿尔卑斯特提斯洋的初始关闭。2011年-现今，他主要研究东亚中生代盆地和造山带的演化历史与亚欧大陆边缘板块碰撞的关系。2013年，他于Earth-Science Reviews发表文章，首次提出白垩纪东亚边缘发生了一个重大的碰撞事件，该文章引起了国内外地学同行的普遍关注和大量媒体的普遍报道。他现兼职为Marine and Petroleum Geology(Elsevier)的副主编。
