主要从事水产动物营养需求与饲料利用、鱼类摄食代谢调控机理研究。于2016年11月至2017年11月在美国奥本大学进行联合培养博士研究生学习,主要从事受体结构与功能关系的研究。参与完成国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)、国家自然科学基金等多项国家级课题。目前在ACS Chemical Neuroscience、Aquaculture、Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology、Aquaculture Nutrition、Fish Physiology and Biochemistry等刊物上发表论文29篇,其中以第一及并列第一作者发表SCI论文9篇,参与授权国家发明专利3项。分别以第六完成人和第九完成人参与完成两项湖北省科技成果。
