1986年7月毕业于安徽师范大学化学系,先后在学校分析测试中心、化学与材料科学学院、环境科学与工程学院工作。2000年6月在南京大学获得理学博士学位;2004年至2005年作为访问****在日本东京工业大学进修,2005年9月回国。2005年入选第四批“安徽省学术和技术带头人后备人选”。2009年获安徽省自然科学三等奖,2011年入选为“安徽省学术和技术带头人”。2013年11月-12月赴加拿大参加省生态环保类学术与技术带头人培训。2013晋升为二级教授;2016年先后获安徽师范大学和安徽省教学名师称号,2019年获学校“文津名师”称号。现为安徽师范大学教授、博士生导师。主要研究领域为环境分析化学、环境污染物的吸附去除等,先后主持国家自然科学基金项目、自然科学基金项目、省教育厅自然科学基金项目等多项项目。先后在国内外学术刊物上发表论文100余篇;发表学术论文获得同行的广泛认同,发表论文共被引用近4000次。
